Michael Weber
Michael is a 16 year old student at St. Francis High School in Traverse City. He has an intense passion of soccer and currently plays for the Premier Northstorm 94’ soccer team, he plays on the T.C. Christian Varsity soccer team, and he is on the Michigan Olympic Development Program 93’ soccer team.

His biggest accomplishment of his soccer career has been making the Michigan Olympic Development Program soccer team. On August 1st, 2009 the program had an open invite to tryout for the team. There was 55 athletes to start and taken down to 30 athletes in one day. Michael made it on to the next tryout which was two weekends in January, 2010 and 24 athletes were chosen from this group. Michael is one of the youngest in the program and is one of two soccer athletes north of Midland to make it to the next cut. July 11, 12, and 13 the last set of cuts will be made and the team will be chosen with 18 players. July 15th, 2010, the 18 athletes play in Kansas City against 13 other state teams. If Michael plays well he could be asked to tryout for the national team.

“FAST challenges me to excel in all categories of fitness. This made me a better over all athlete.” he said. Michael chose FAST because “I heard from others that FAST does a really good job working one-on-one with you and that the staff is excellent.” Michael feels “FAST has helped me become quicker, I have a better vertical, and I am much more explosive when going to the soccer ball.”
