“Last year, Mark, from Fast Fitness worked
with our daughter, Dori Lansbach, who’s a senior
at Traverse City Central High School. Dori
is a 4 year Varsity basketball player and the reigning
Big North Conference Player of the Year who
signed in November to play D-1 basketball at the
University of North Florida in Jacksonville. She
is the first D-1 basketball player to come from
Central since Chris Spencer in 2004.
Mark was instrumental in helping Dori
increase her speed, agility and vertical jump.
You deserve a “pat on the back†for all of the
hard work you are doing with our young athletes
in the area. Thank you.†—Marci Lansbach (mom of Dori Lansbach)

North Storm 96 second year training at FAST
"As a coach of the North Storm 96 Boys soccer team, I would like to express my thanks for the excellent training at FAST for our team. I can't express enough gratitude for the job you guys did. From the great atmosphere to the flexibility in making the schedule work for us. I also want to say thanks for always answering questions that I had and always making time to work with the boys in a one on one with they had issues with pain or tightness. The sessions were always very well put together towards soccer specific exercises and I saw great advancement in flexibility and agility in the team. Again, just want to say thank you for your hard work and dedication towards our team. I know I can speak for all when I say we will look forward to working with you guys again and into the future."

"I am able to see a big difference in the players who did the team soccer conditioning program last year vs. the newcomers. I notice a big result in balance and core strength with the players. Acceleration has greatly improved; core strength has been really noticeable in how the players play against bigger players on the field. One player, Lucas, showed a real improvement in vertical jump during games. Another player, Daniel, and several others, have shown better balance and coordination on the field. They have quicker reaction time with feet to the ball. Players have really enjoyed the sessions and are always looking forward to them."

"Our tennis players hit harder and get to the ball faster!
The TCSF boys' varsity tennis program was the best in history for the school. The St. Francis tennis team was quicker, hit the ball harder and had more stamina than before. We had a state champion team at #3 doubles and had an "all state" team at #1. This team was committed to doing their best this season, and they met that commitment. Thank you FAST for helping with their conditioning"

"The Team at FAST has played a vital role in preparing me and many of the athletes from the TC Wolves football team for the upcoming football season. I have seen vast improvements in my core strength, my quickness and agility and explosiveness. The positive correlation between their training and my performance out on the field is undeniable. I highly recommend working with FAST to maximize your potential as an athlete or for simply getting you back to speed from an injury.".

I had a great ime working out at FAST. The team atmosphere was great for motivation and getting to know one another. I feel that I got much stronger and faster. My footwork on the court has improved tremendously and I can get to the ball much faster. My arm strength has improved a lot which in turn has given me a lot more power. My core muscles have also improved a lot. My whole entire physical ability has improved a lot which makes me extremely happy.

When I came to FAST I was good at tennis but my footwork needed some help. After and during training I could tell a difference in my footwork. I learned how to shuffle better and more efficiently. This also helped my shoulder become stronger for my game. I feel this has helped me become faster and better at my game overall. The trainers helped me improve in many areas. I had fun training with my friends.

I learned how to side shuffle better, and use correct running form. I formed a ton of muslce in my legs, and I have workouts that I can continue to use. I like the stations, and using the ladder. The core workouts were another favorite. I learned how to do squats correctly that I will still use. On the pre and post testing I improved a lot on my vertical jump.

"My two major goals when coming to FAST were to improve my vertical jump and to increase my speed/reaction time. The FAST program helped me achieve my goals above and beyond what I had expected. I see improved overall strength, ability to jump higher, and I am much quicker to the ball. I was a starter on the St. Francis Volleyball team this year and my team became the 2009 LMC Conference Champions."

Michael Weber
His biggest accomplishment of his soccer career has been making the Michigan Olympic Development Program soccer team. On August 1st, 2009 the program had an open invite to tryout for the team. There was 55 athletes to start and taken down to 30 athletes in one day. Michael made it on to the next tryout which was two weekends in January, 2010 and 24 athletes were chosen from this group. Michael is one of the youngest in the program and is one of two soccer athletes north of Midland to make it to the next cut. July 11, 12, and 13 the last set of cuts will be made and the team will be chosen with 18 players. July 15th, 2010, the 18 athletes play in Kansas City against 13 other state teams. If Michael plays well he could be asked to tryout for the national team. “FAST challenges me to excel in all categories of fitness. This made me a better over all athlete.†he said. Michael chose FAST because “I heard from others that FAST does a really good job working one-on-one with you and that the staff is excellent.†Michael feels “FAST has helped me become quicker, I have a better vertical, and I am much more explosive when going to the soccer ball.†|

She works as a camp counselor at Arbutus Hayowentha and is also a key player on the Varsity Softball Team at St. Francis.Heather started coming to FAST in the winter of 2008 to help improve her base running and speed as well as her power while swinging the bat. Her and her trainer, Annemarie, worked her goals by first looking at her body as a whole and where her deficits were. During her time at FAST she combined strength training with, core, agility, speed, and plyometric training. Heather made in through a successful 2009 softball season without any injuries and an improved stolen base percentage. She did so well last season she will be playing softball in 2010 at Denison University and majoring in Sports Psychology. |
Lauren Bilinski
Traverse City West Senior High School
Lauren has been a VIP at FAST since she started training in Summer 2006 when she was going to be in 8th grader. The staff at FAST got to know Lauren quickly with her bubbly personality, her giant will to succeed, and her love for softball. Lauren grew up very quickly causing some unwanted joint pain and soft tissue pain. With each growth spurt FAST has been there with Lauren to get her through to help her with both physical therapy as well as FAST Athlete training. She recently was having some knee pain and wanted to get it taken care of before she started training for this upcoming softball season. Especially since she is a pitcher on the Varsity team she has to put in a lot of long hours to get where she needs to prior to season. During therapy she and her clinician worked on addressing the abnormalities in her body posture that were causing the pain. They also worked the muscles that assist her in her pitching motion so that she would become more efficient while pitching. She also worked on learning how to breathe properly specifically while playing softball so that she can utilize her core muscles better. Currently Lauren is a member of the TC West Varsity Softball Team, National Honors Society Member, Key Club Member, Spanish Club Member and is in the Youth Group at St. Francis Church. She plans to play softball at the college or university level and would like to major in nursing and become nurse practitioner. Lauren likes FAST because “They are really nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. They always help me when I need them. I am much stronger and faster each time I am here. They have equipment and techniques that I cannot get anywhere else.†|
