CLARK PHELPS
Central Varsity Ski Team
Clark is skiing #1 for Central Varsity ski team as well as for CUSSA Region III.  He is currently traveling from Marquette to Minnesota for races.

Last year as a freshman Clark made All Conference and All Region for his performance on the high school ski team.  He also was awarded Second Team All State for Slalom.  He finished 10th at States in Slalom and his High School Team won States for the first time since 1999.  He was also picked for the Record Eagle's All-Region Boys Skiing First Team.  In addition he received an Award of Recognition for his high academic achievement while participating in downhill skiing.  He finished his freshman year with a 3.95 GPA, which wasn't easy since he missed over 2 months of school because of skiing.  He was 2nd in slalom and 3rd in giant slalom for the J3 boys in CUSSA Region III last year and went on to the Junior Olympics where he finished 16th in slalom.

Clark also water skiis, surfs, competes in sailboat racing, and plays tennis.  His conditioning at fast fitness has helped him in all of his sports.  He gained core strength, agility, speed, and increased leg strength from his conditioning at fast fitness.  He was also able to go to Colorado in the fall and ski at high altitude from here without a problem.
